Donte DiVincenzo Responds To The "outside Noise" Surrounding Timberwolves

“There’s a lot of outside noise going on,” DiVincenzo said. “People are quick to criticize and make assumptions. But we’re not listening to that. We’re only focused on what we can control, and that’s our performance on the court.”

DiVincenzo’s comments echo those of his coach, Chris Finch, who has repeatedly emphasized the need for the team to stay focused and avoid distractions.

The Timberwolves have endured a disappointing start to the season, sitting at 10-11 and near the bottom of the Western Conference standings. Injuries, poor shooting, and defensive lapses have all contributed to their struggles.

The team’s recent loss to the Los Angeles Lakers drew particular criticism, with many pundits questioning the team’s chemistry and potential.

Despite the struggles, DiVincenzo insists that the team’s locker room remains positive. He praised the leadership of veterans like Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns, saying they have kept the team together through adversity.

“We have a lot of guys who have been in this league for a long time,” DiVincenzo said. “They know how to handle adversity and they’re not going to let it break us apart.”

As the Timberwolves look to turn their season around, DiVincenzo believes the key is to stay focused and work together.

“We’re not going to be perfect, but we’re going to show up every day and give it our all,” he said. “If we stick together and keep working hard, we’ll get through this.”
